We were commissioned as part of the Accrington Townscape Heritage Initiative to restore the facade of this fine building on Blackburn Road in the town centre. Research showed that the ground floor window configuration had changed a number of times since the construction of the building. Our scheme is an interpretation of an earlier state of the frontage with curved flanking windows and a central arcade area lit by the open lunette at first floor level. Completed 2021.
