Burton-in-Kendal Consultation

We have been commissioned to complete a Village Design Statement (VDS) for Burton-in-Kendal, Cumbria. The process includes a series of consultations and workshops with local residents. At this workshop we showed our drawings, research and initial ideas for the VDS.

Roof on at Whiteley Village

The new Care Hub at Whiteley Village in Surrey contains consulting rooms, care suites and a cafe. This is a view of the new circular cafe steel frame from the roof of the care suites.

Duchy Field

On 2 August representatives from the Duchy of Cornwall visted Duchy Field, the extension to the village of Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire, master-planned and designed by Francis Roberts Architects. The picture shows Francis Roberts talking to Peter James of the Duchy of Cornwall.

Nave Complete

The completion of our scheme for the clearing and re-ordering of the nave at Cartmel Priory (Grade l listed). A section of Victorian pews has been removed and the medieval font has been positioned on axis, returning the nave to its original cleared state and revealing the grandeur of the space. Contractor: Askins & Little Ltd. Carlisle.
